Taggart Pottery uses unique stoneware and porcelain clays in the production of our high-fire pottery. We employ a combination of pottery techniques, including wheel-throwing, extrution and handbuilding.
Our castles, toadhouses and piggybanks are made with a combination of wheel-thown and handbuilding techniques. Face pots are formed into mugs, birdhouses, birdfeeders and jars. These applied surface enrichments add texture and interest. Birdhouses are made to offer a variety of display options. They may be hung, attached to a fence or post or placed on a pole. Faces, clay leaves and wall decorations can be used in the home or garden. The pottery is durable and can be left outdoors year-round.
Mugs and bowls are microwave, oven and dishwasher safe.
